My controversial takes on AOT and the fandom.

Character development doesn't mean changing personality overnight. That would be personality disorder irl, so I will be actually concerned if it happened to someone.

More characters death =/ good story writing

Till now the characters who have died, their role in story is over. Think about that before claiming everyone is going to die, bcz many characters have dreams.

Some stans think they are superior than the others but they are just as bad if they attack other people for voicing their opinions.

Em fandom is no better than other ship fandom. Stop acting so high, when you harass others as well. As long as they don't attack your ship, let them dream whatever they want.

Historia's character arc finished in uprising. She isn't going to swoop in last minute and save the day. The faster some people learn that, the better.

Some Mikasa stans get defensive when someone mocks or attacks Mikasa, but they do the same for other characters like eren, and when called out say it's a joke. Stop being hypocrites

Normalise multishipping. If you aren't comfortable with it then fine, but let others do that in peace instead of trolling them.

Floch was better written than some of the characters, but you all ain't ready for that conversation.

Some people have just forgotten how marley chose to attack paradise even when they were at peace for a century, and love to put all blame on eren.

People call aot peak fiction, and praise it for being so different yet want the mc to be like typical shonen. Pick your side.

Mikasa doesn't have to give clever speeches or come up with brilliant strategy to be an awesome character.

People compare x and y characters but fail to realise that all characters have unique personality. They all won't make the same choices. Do you realise how boring the manga will be then?

Jean is better for Mikasa than eren bcz bla bla bla. No, he doesn't have 2k yr old founder inside his head, or tons of memories haunting him. Again stop piting characters against each other

Yes, eren is suffering but he is also aware of his actions. Stop babying him 24/7 and accept he made the choice to do rumbling.

Sasha's death served as moving plot points for others like eren, Gabi, Connie etc. Her death served more purpose than her being alive. Sad but true.

Mikasa has always been most important person for Eren. You can refuse to accept that, but it's the truth.

Levi's character arc isn't about killing Zeke. Just like he told Erwin to give up, he also need to give up on killing him. I think he may have already moved beyond that.

Some people who stan side characters love to shit on the main ones, but they secretly wish their favs were like them.

This fandom doesn't know the concept of agreeing to disagree. If they did, it will be much more peaceful here.

The fandom is going to lose its shit if more people don't die now. If we even get a remotely happy ending u can expect people to throw jabs at isayama

Eren doesn't have to suffer more just coz you think he is responsible for your favs death. Your favs are responsible for the situation he is in rn. Plus he has already suffered enough.
