ways you can still support animals if you can’t go vegan bc of disabilities, medical conditions and if you live in food desserts

🌱 a thread 🌱
- avoiding animal based clothing such as leather and fur

- opting for vegan makeup and skin care

- buying reef safe vegan sunscreen instead of normal sunscreen

- minimising you’re waste/ avoiding plastic as much as you can as harming the environment harms habitats
- not supporting sports and entertainment using animals such as bull riding, horse riding, greyhound racing

- not buying snacks or candy with gelatine in them

- if it’s possible to, opt for plant based milks. You can even make them too which makes it so cheap
- signing petitions and donating to farm animal sanctuaries

- opting for alcohol that is vegan (most are filtered in animal products like fish or contain dairy and eggs) my fav is rum lmao most spirits are okay but it’s mostly wine you need to look out for!
- if you can find one, buy from a vegan toilet paper brand (wild even toilet paper isn’t vegan). I personally use who gives a crap tp. household of 3 and we buy toilet paper 1-2 times a year now

- opt for cruelty free and more eco friendly cleaning products if it’s accessible
- making sure products you buy haven’t been tested on animals

there are lots of little ways to still advocate for animals if you can’t go vegan bc of disabilities, illnesses, current situations etc.

vegans pls comment if you think of any others to help everyone out!! 💗
also need to add bc it was like 12am when I made this. Veganism is not a diet which is why made this thread to show that there are so many ways to adopt a vegan lifestyle even if you can’t change your diet to accommodate that lifestyle
