A little thread, well it's quite long really ,sorry, of a recent blog tweeted by Nicky regarding targeted, organised on line bullying and my take on the situation with Ferret and Nicky. Please read it all /1

Last night Nicky linked to a statement, was attacked and accused of setting 'her gang' on people by blocking the accusers. You do not bully by blocking them, quite the opposite, people blocked because of attacks on Nicky and did not wish to engage with those attacking /2

A little history. After the EU ref, Nicky who lives out of the country could not physically support UK based groups but wanted to help so decided to go down the road of fighting for citizens rights and tirelessly campaigned for the 3 million and BiE at great expense to herself /3

Two of the accounts I followed and often had freindly engagements with were Nicky and Ferret. I first met them irl on the 2018 march after supporting #FSFA since it's inception, although not active /4

Following the march we all met in the pub for a Beehive organised by Nicky on behalf of #FSFA. Ferret made an appearance and spoke to camera about her worries over brexit /5

Not long after, I noticed a sustained attack on #FSFA accusing them of grifting and demanding to see accounts, by people with large followings. I don't know what started this but it was constant daily abuse by the same people but Nicky carried on with her campaigning /6

When the peoples march was announced for Oct 2019 I booked flights and hotel for myself and a friend. Then the date was changed, I couldn't get a refund or change of dates so faced 4 days of sightseeing in London. Having lived there for 30 yrs+ this prospect wasn't appealing /7

#FSFA realised that there were quite a few people in the same boat as me and so came up with #R4OR. That, for me is when the problems with Ferret became obvious /8

Many people worked tirelessly on this, we wanted it to be different, not a march, so aimed it at the 5 million, begged and pestered high profile people to come and speak at the rally /9

I then came across strange comments coming from Ferret about our plans but was unsure why she had gone on the attack until somebody asked if she would be there. Her reply was 'No as I have not been invited' /10

I thought this odd, invites were to speakers, everybody was welcome, we were not an exclusive club. I commented on this and was immediately blocked by her and as people like to say 'her gang.' I did not feel bullied by this, they didn't want to engage so that was their choice /11

From that time, I have been made aware of implied comments coming from Ferret constantly digging at Nicky from behind a block which Nicky did not respond too

Recently Nicky has helped young females with alleged online intimidation by a big account, she had no influence over them, she was used as a friendly contact to help these girls understand that they were not alone and suggest that they contact the police /13

When it became known which account was being accused, Nicky faced an onslaught of abuse, mostly from people behind blocks /14

People demanding evidence, names, police report numbers and accusing her of being on a power trip. She replied that as an ongoing investigation she could not disclose details but begged people to stop attacking her and the victims, this fell on deaf ears /15

Ferret, did not attack her directly but made subtle replies on threads which were then jumped on by her followers This abuse has gone on relentlessly and I have seen the toll it has taken on Nicky but it did not stop her/16

Ferret did a thread naming Nicky as an instigator of an attack on her and making false claims, in fact Ferret made it sound like Nicky was only doing this to level a vendetta that she had against her, at no time had Nicky done this or implied that Ferret was involved /17

Nicky replied politely asking her to stop but to no avail. The tweet is still pinned to Ferrets account /18

Last night Nicky put out a statement made by the person investigating on line abuse in which people were named. Ferret although mentioned but not implicated, felt the need to put out a subtle tweet suggesting that she had been accused of bullying /19

IMO this tweet was totally uncalled for and just highlighted Nicky's tweet but not in a good way /20

Attacks then started on Nicky's tweet. All replies by 'Nicky's so called gang' were polite just asking people to be reasonable and not attack her. Sadly this did not happened and again this morning, Ferret is still stirring the pot and making it about her /21

Nicky has begged for this to stop but this has not happened. /22

The original statement was NOT about Ferret or Nicky, it was about on line targetted abuse which Nicky helped with, in a small way. Please see the victims in this and not the victim signallers. Thank you for reading. /end
