an ancient civilization of people who've been fighting for years.
war.... destruction... death....

but how did all of this happen? what triggered this endless conflict?

to find out, I'm gonna need to share the story of my adventure through their lands.

it all started when a friend of mine was looking for gifs of the video game franchise "Yakuza".
while scrolling through the numerous gif options, one peculiar set of gifs were present.
seemingly speaking of an "N word-chan" character.

further digging through these gifs shows up other, similar gifs, referring to a group called "kiddlecord"

a group supposedly in war with this N word-chan character.

but what's even more odd is that this same kiddlecord is in a war with other, similar, "cords"

going through the Tenor page, which is the source for Discord's gif feature brings up even more of these cords

what's going on here?
this is endless.
this goes on for pages and pages

after realizing nothing will come from sifting through these gifs, me and a friend of mine took it to consulting a search engine.

and oh boy there it is

AN OUTDATED TWITTER BIO BELONGING TO AN ADMIN OF ONE OF THE CORDS

I've just found my ticket inside.

contacting the admin was not an easy task.
I had to speak their language and not appear hostile in the process. a tongue I've dubbed "Cordian".

after careful selecting a supporting gif as a kind gesture, I was accepted.

I was finally going in to these mysterious lands.

now was a very important moment in my journey.

I had to be extremely careful as to not agitate them.

I needed answers, and quick.

I slipped up because of my haste and greed.
the members of the community were confused at first, but I managed to calm down the situation somehow.

but hold on a minute.
the admin is called Aiko?
....
why that's my good friend Aiko from twitter....

...WHATS GOING ON HERE?

thankfully, though, he appeared to be unrelated to this situation.

I wouldn't know what to do if I discovered someone I know was related to this whole thing.

to my bitter luck, gregcord has been reminded of the terrible atrocities they've faced through their previous wars.
another war was gonna start.
and it wasn't gonna be pretty.
another massacre was about to occur.

I am no man of war. just an innocent bystander hoping to record history.

I was not getting myself involved in needless slaughter.
I needed to gather as much info as I could, then get the hell outta there.

after speaking with one of the admins, he provided me with a list of all the currently known cords.
but this wasn't enough; I needed a historical order to piece everything together.

if gregcord didn't have any accurate information, then I needed to visit Choppcord.

thankfully, the members of gregcord were kind enough to allow me to use their secret tunnels to get in Choppcord

there, I've met the leader of Choppcord.
a knowledgeable, though biased, old-man with wisdom.

he offered to explain the history to me in detail.

this was it. I was finally getting my answers

he goes on to explain how the original Jakecord is being shadowed by a fake.
I've attempted to get in the real one, but I needed higher status.

after learning the history of the Cordians, now was the time for the original and most important question.

who is N-word-Chan?
where did they come from?
how does it relate to the Cordians?

N WORD CHAN IS A ROGUE UNRELATED TO THE CORDIAN WARS

and we just happened to step over our boundaries by finding this community.

I had finally found all the answers I've been seeking.
this journey has gone on for almost 5 hours.

5 hours of intel gathering and communicating.
we had finally solved the mystery.

the Cordian civilization still remains alive to this day.
though their history is filled with bloodshed, they are still fascinating creatures.
