It's no secret - we all despise the Glazers. Those American frauds have sucked the life (and money) out of our club. We want #GlazersOut. But how? Who should, or rather can takeover #mufc from those leeches?

One answer is Mukesh Ambani. Who is he and why it's a match? A thread:

1. For those unaware, Mukesh Ambani is Asia's richest person and the 5th richest in the world. His net wealth is $90 billion (~£70 billion). His business portfolio comprises of Reliance Industries (petrochemicals) and Reliance Jio (telecommunications). Here's the fun part...

2. He's also one of the world's richest sports owners. He owns Mumbai Indians in the IPL, the most successful team in the competition's history. He also founded the Indian Super League, the top flight of Indian football.
So how can his takeover of #mufc be a win-win for both?

3. For starters, Ambani wants to win wherever he puts his money in. Given his financial status and experience in owning sports franchisees, he will put in the best infrastructure and the best management personnel, top to bottom. He won't make us a cash cow. #mufc #AmbaniIN

4. No debts, no interests, no dividends. If we maintain or increase our revenue figures every year, he won't need to invest heavy amounts into the club unless needed. We can have a comfortable transfer budget of at least £100 million every year as is. #mufc #AmbaniIN

5. Now how does it help him? #mufc being a global brand will be the biggest platform to market Jio, his telecom business. High projections of setting up operations in UK and eventually, Europe - on his terms. Only increases his market share. #AmbaniIN

6. Expansion of football in India - we're talking about pre-season tours in India and Asia, forming tie-ups with ISL clubs and giving Indian football the exposure it needs. Not to mention the huge fan following, retail sales, brand and player marketing potentials. #mufc #AmbaniIN

And hence, based on the above reasons, I feel that he is the ideal owner for #mufc.
