Covid numbers came down drastically in Ganjam,Odisha which had initially zero cases after which it became the hotspot after migrants were brought back!!! Isn't it the administration at fault. Never mind lot of mismanagement had happened and will share something going on right now

Back at hmtwn Berhampur at my grandfather's place evry1 was having covid symptms-fever,body pain etc by last http://Sunday.One  of my uncle works in gov hosp in another district had tested -ve visited home and on return had tested +ve.He had came in contact with all of them.

2 of my other uncles who were having fever from 2-3days and few other family members including my parents went for test on Monday.Waiting for results basic medicines being taken & isolated from elders(3 aged more than 70) at home. Oxygen levels normal for all.

Test results came -ve for all and we took it to be some flu, but both of my uncles still having fever. They went for all other test like typhoid,etc and nothing was found. Oxygen levels still in control. But he had developed severe congestion, x-ray shows infection.

Sunday both of them had to be admitted to hospital as oxygen levels went down. Test is being done again and now we realize the test was mostly rapid test(sample taken from nasal) and the swab test might be done later which will take again 7 odd days for the result.

Just now test results again came negative for both of them. One of them is having pneumonia and will be getting treated for it. So now the concern is are they really covid -ve ? In that case how come all having symptoms and 2 of them are having chest infections?

7 months into this Pandemic, leave about Vaccine we are not even having proper test setups. Lockdown was implemented for long time but they were not able to setup labs which could improve the time taken for swab test.

It's a concern that rapid antigen test is having accuracy of only 40% and gov is hugely dependent on it.
