[cw racism, fatphobia]

As a result of the last thread, Aja has been recieving fatphobic & racist abuse in screeds from fans (yes, literal dungaree brand stans lol) of the company Lucy & Yak.
Lucy & Yak& #39;s official-unofficial FB group is filled with people recieving undersized clothes and planning diets in order to fit in them.

There& #39;s a toxic thin-white-cis-woman culture around their entire brand while they use black bodies to promote their garments.
Sustainable fashion has a problem with racism and fatphobia.

(Although it& #39;s questionable whether a brand who do multiple releases throughout the year of new products and have such size discrepancies is really as ethical as they claim)
The original L&Y video was essentially a public callout against Aja for her asking accountability from a buisiness- portraying her as an angry fat black woman, and using the threat of job loss for Indian women to silence criticism.
Now they& #39;re refusing to remove or really moderate the hateful, fatphobic, racist comments their brand bootlickers are making. Saying they don& #39;t violate Instagram guidelines.

They squeezed free labour out of a black plus size blogger but reject the idea of more inclusive sizing.
Glad this thread& #39;s getting attention but please remember to focus your support on @AjaSaysHello, exploitation of marginalised labour in the fashion industry and the intentional lack of plus size inclusion in sustainable fashion!
For those interested, this was my comment on their white-tears Instagram video. I posted within an hour, and since then have recieved some disgusting replies- and this was just a comment by a white disabled chubby person.
All I did was post a comment and I& #39;ve recieved ableism, "gotcha!"s, fatphobia and transphobia.

Imagine the vitriol directed at the woman who& #39;s tried to hold them to accountability.

Also, the L&Y accountability chats around racism were almost entirely white influencers.
