THE TRUTH ABOUT COLD SHOWERS

(99% of you are damaging your body)

~~~THREAD~~~
Bathin was considered a ritual in ancient times.
Bathing is not just meant to cleanse the physical body but also the mind & soul.
Bathing should be done calmly, consciously & purposefully.
It is only then one can reap its benefits.
According to Ayurveda,
No matter what season, one should always bathe with cold water.
Ayurveda does not recommend bathing whilst standing.
Coldwater bathing makes your body strong mentally & physically.
Bathing with hot water can lead to
- dark circles
- lethargy
- hair fall
- rough skin
- weak immunity
- weak digestion
- weak vision (ruins the eyes)
- brain disorder (in some cases)
- many other serious health issues
There is no reason why you should not be bathing with cold water unless you are ill.
BUT....
You see I said cold water bathing & not cold showers.
Because cold showers is damaging your body.
Directly exposing your head to the cold water ruins your arteries, body temperature & blood flow.
How to take a bath?
I met a Yogi in December 2019.
He was from Rajasthan and studied Yoga & Ayurveda from Varanasi.
He was a genius, I was new to yoga and he guided me.
He told me the correct way to bathe.
Never bathe whilst standing.
Always in a seated cross-legged position.
- Bathing should be started by washing the feet
- Then wash you calfs, shins, thighs in order
(following upwards)
- Splash some water on your belly button then wash your torso
- Followed by hands, back & neck
- Then wash your face and head
The human body has Nadhis.
These nadhis intersect at 7 points in the human body and these 7 intersections are called Chakras.
These chakras get activated and are supposed to be activated from the root to the crown.
This is why showers are wrong way of bathing.
Aligning your chakras makes you a higher vibrational human being.
While bathing,
Use your left hand to massage the right part of your body
& right hand to massage the left part of your body.
This is because we have both masculine (Pingala/right) & feminine (Ida/left) energies
Within us & this would harmonize them giving a sense of fullness.
I knew I will never meet him again,
So I asked him for some book recommendations.
He replied I only need to read one book,
"Shrimad Bhagwad Geeta"
