So I and a couple of friends went on Holiday to Edinburgh, Scotland and it was so much fun.

This a thread of the activities and pictures of the beautiful scenery that is Edinburgh.
Day 1: Went to the Camera Obscura which is basically a world of illusions where you can take nice pictures that defy understanding sometimes.
It was really fun. We also walked the Royal Mile, watched some street magic and went to the Botanical Garden. Went drinking at night too.
Day 2: We went hiking early in the Morning to “Arthurs Seat” (bloody stressful https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😂" title="Gesicht mit Freudentränen" aria-label="Emoji: Gesicht mit Freudentränen">)

Afterwards, we visited the Royal Yatch Britannia. Got see sthe Queen’s bedroom and everything

Walked the City Centre and shopped in wizard stores

Had evening cruise ... https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😂" title="Gesicht mit Freudentränen" aria-label="Emoji: Gesicht mit Freudentränen">
Day 3: We went to Nelson’s Monument (And bloody hell it was a high walk). Very beautiful scenery

Afterwards, we went to the National Museum of Scotland,

Then transported ourselves on a “Forth boat cruise”, where some biker gangs were holding Annual General Meeting https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😂" title="Gesicht mit Freudentränen" aria-label="Emoji: Gesicht mit Freudentränen">

We then concluded the night with a nice dinner in “Tony Macaroni”, which was superb.

Italian restaurant, three course meal, affordable prices, nice service and excellent food. I whole heartily refer the place to future Edinburgh tourists
Edinburgh is such a beautiful city and I can confidently tell you that pictures do not do justice to the awesome scenery.

It has a perfect blend of old (well taken care of) and new structures.

You can taste the rich history of the place in the air. Kilts, Bag Pipes and Whiskey.
Another thing is that the Island is on a rock so there are many hilly places. You must know how to walk very well, and be fit to enjoy the experience a https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="💯" title="Hundert Punkte Symbol" aria-label="Emoji: Hundert Punkte Symbol">.

Also, not many black people. I probably saw a total of 10 black people my whole stay there. https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😂" title="Gesicht mit Freudentränen" aria-label="Emoji: Gesicht mit Freudentränen">

Nice people though https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😆" title="Lächelndes Gesicht mit geöffnetem Mund und fest verschlossenen Augen" aria-label="Emoji: Lächelndes Gesicht mit geöffnetem Mund und fest verschlossenen Augen">
Other places that we could have gone to but time didn’t permit were:

Edinburgh Castle
Underground City
Diagon Alley (the actual one in Harry Potter)
The Scottish Whiskey Experience

(When you go, you lot should definitely try this. Don’t be like us https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😂" title="Gesicht mit Freudentränen" aria-label="Emoji: Gesicht mit Freudentränen">)
My only bad review was the hotel we stayed. Travel Lodge, St. Mary’s Street, Edinburgh.

Horrible service, rude staff (can’t get into the details now because I’m still angry. I threatened to sue for racial profiling and discrimination)

Long story short, it sucked.
But I cannot let that one snag ruin the beautiful time I had in Edinburgh. I fell in love with the City at first sight and I might consider moving there next year, all things being equal.

P.S, all pictures taken by my iPhone 11 pro.
My fellow holiday(ers), it was a pleasure. Till we go to Italy, France and Spain in December https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🥂" title="Anstoßende Gläser" aria-label="Emoji: Anstoßende Gläser">
