i wanted to draw something creepy and i sit here and think about shadows time as a "baby" in the lab on the ark and how he would be under observation as hes still in a "baby" stage, other anthropomorphic lab rats because of creepy factor (where they get the hedgehog dna)

he soon proves how powerful he is by escaping, once discovering how strong he actually is and his brain develops more, i will spare the deep neuro-psuedoscience for now. the scientists would now realize what kind of creature they were dealing with...

they learn the rings inhibit his power, thus how he got them and why he has to wear them. also, as time goes on and more tests are conducted, people would begin to fear the power, thus leading to the whole unfortunate *Incident* later on. The gov. seizing the powerful creature.

JUST HAVING FUN exploring some more repressed memories our dearly beloved shadow thee hedgehog could possibly have. and fml i should have put an image with this bc the crop. but it also kinda makes it creepier like wtf is this shit maya???????

Ok I came up with more creepy sci-fi horror to add to the story, not only were those labhogs used to produce the hedgehog dna required to create shadow - BUT also they could be used as guineahogs too.

Being that shadow was created to cure disease and.. death. I imagine there would be a series of tests before they start using it on Maria’s illness, before just going WELL LETS HOPE THIS WORKS! Nah. There would have to be a test group.

They would be infected with various autoimmune diseases and then treated at various levels of shadowblood to test the results. Too much causes mutation and super strength and alien powers, and just a little produces adequate healing properties...

Nobody survived long enough due to the military seizing the ark and the experiment to test if it actually provided immortality too...... (Or did they.. or should I say SHE!!) hehe.

One of them is shadow’s “mother” too, in the way that black doom was his “father”. It’s fun to think about his alien side.. but he’s hedgehog too. Petri dish parents.
