We’ll go with a common cereal for this example.

Frosted Flakes contains 11.2mg of iron per cup. Now, we all know you’re gonna have more than one serving based off the box anytime you have cereal, come on.
That is on average, at least 22.4mg of iron. The recommended daily amount for iron in men is 16-18mg/day and 12mg/day for women.

This already puts you above the recommended daily value of iron intake.
Less than 40% of this iron is actually used by the body, while the rest is stored in organs and eventually tissue.

Now, this iron is non-heme. Iron must be bound to heme, hemoglobin, or other enzymes, such as Ceruloplasmin, Ferroxidase, and Transferrin.
None of these processes can occur without energy or ATP, which requires Magnesium to for Mg-ATP.

You cannot load Iron into Ferritin without Ferroxidase, which is a Copper-dependent enzyme.
If this does not occur, Iron gets stored in tissue as Hemosiderin, which is proposed to be insoluble and unable to be removed from the organs and body (though I believe there is a solution to nearly everything within the human biology).
You cannot load Iron into Hemoglobin without Catalase activity to neutralize the Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) that oxidized copper and makes it toxic and unusable.
Retinol, or preformed vitamin A (found only in animal foods) is essential for Catalase production and thus Hemoglobin, along with that usable Copper.

Retinol is also necessary to make Copper usable to load into Ceruloplasmin, and THUS FERROXIDASE.
This Free Labile Iron stored as Hemosiderin in organs and tissue can only be detected by needle biopsy, which is EXTREMELY painful, or EXTREMELY expensive scanning equipment.
So the easy solution? Stop eating ALL processed foods, all breads, all pasta, all flour, all cereals IMMEDIATELY, and START focusing on nutrient dense animal proteins/fats and as many as vegetables as you can tolerate as the foundation of ANY diet.
Focus on your mineral balance and intake DAILY. If you really want to take it a step further, implement my zero tolerance dietary framework for the rest of your life or the rest of the time you spend in the United States of America. https://twitter.com/grimhood/status/1205150236399718400
