I work as a community care worker. Yesterday I worked from 8am until 9pm with two half hour breaks. Working for less than minimum wage. I fit in extra uncovered calls covered over 17,000 steps and fit in personal tasks on my tiny breaks.

By the time I had finished my shift I was so tired I had no energy to stand and cook myself a healthy meal so a grabbed a snack had a long soak in the bath and into bed. This is the reality for most care workers. I’ve started my day at 6:15am to get my children organised for

School and I’m about to go to my 1st call and start the cycle again. Whilst worrying about making ends meet not if I can afford a nanny to care for my children. @Conservatives are so out of touch if they think words of thanks or a round of applause is going to keep the roof over

My head. I am constantly tired and stressed but have to constantly pretend to be okay. This govern clearly couldn’t care less about its countries many wonderful care workers!!!
