Lots of injuries and deaths this week, both related to #FantasyFootball and not, and it reminds me of a few things.

/THREAD\\
1. Life is too short to take things for granted.

Spend time with friends and family and tell them you love them.

Find joy in the little moments and do your best to be present in them.

You can remind yourself of this by wiggling your toes.

That’s what I do.
2. Some things are always bigger than football. I saw a mean tweet about James White’s inactive messing up a lineup.

Players are people.

Have grace for when they miss games, but also have grace for their mistakes.

They’re upset too, don’t @ them and respect their privacy.
3. Stop putting things off.

We never know when things end, jobs, lives, moments, anything.

Stop waiting and go for it. Whatever it is.

You’ve got this.
4. Sometimes people just need a hand.

If you’re struggling with something right now and need something, DM me or just like this tweet and I’ll DM you.

It’s okay, you’re not alone. I’m here for you even if you feel alone.
5. Don’t take this so seriously.

This can be fantasy football, work, life, anything.

Relax, take the tongue off the roof of your mouth, breathe in, breathe out. Relax your shoulders.

Look around the room and find 3 things you like / are grateful for.
Lastly, sometimes things suck.

2020 has had a lot of that for a lot of people.

It’s okay if it’s hard.

You can do hard things.

This is the only way forward. The obstacle in the way becomes the way.

You can do this.
