people seldom place value on what they get for nothing, if it’s just handed to them without equal effort or exchange, it’s rarely respected. this is why i refuse to do another’s work for them or take on any of their responsibilities.

1.
i refuse to give ppl answers to what they can easily find for themselves or what requires THEIR time & energy to unlock from within. even simple tasks like Googling weather forecasts or making lists of what they may need for a trip, i will not enable laziness & stunt growth.

2.
many have been hurt & offended by my directness but real ones see how empowering & freeing my love is. there are those who hate me for not holding their hand & pandering to unhealed wounds. they’ll call me mean or rude for not tiptoeing over truth...

3.
but i refuse to collaborate with the systems which have taught them to bypass introspection, fear independent thinking, & expect a woman to do their solving & carrying.

i believe in process & enquiry, co-dependency however is only appealing to sick people.

4.
how can we encourage others to be whole & healthy while picking up the slack & parenting them? here’s an idea: use your initiative & your OWN brain, access your senses & your OWN soul. get quiet, go inwards, trust yourself enough to manage yourself...

5.
& for the love of God, stop asking black women to labour for you!

knowledge isn’t free, it’s going to cost you something & it’s YOU that must seek it. it’s when we go in honest & whole-hearted pursuit of what we want that we learn how to honour what we’ve received...

6.
& we find our own way.

but without understanding & application there’s no retention & it’s nothing but data accumulation. without character & wisdom to go alongside that knowledge, it’s just more stuff to puff up the chest.

7.
without humility of heart & REAL empathy, enter the god-complex & false teacher stage left.

i'm tryna free ya

- love.
