Home minister Amit Shah tables ‘FCRA(foreign contribution regulation act) Amendment bill’ in Lok Sabha today;
Salient features:-

*NGOs receiving foreign donations can use only upto 20% of donation for personal administrative use(earlier it was 50%)
THREAD:-

*All Foreign donation money will be compulsorily deposited in SBI account first

*New and renewal of FCRA licenses will require mandatory Aadhar or passport docs

*NO PUBLIC SERVANT will be allowed to receive foreign donations under any circumstances

* NGOs cannot pass foreign donation money to other subsidiary NGOs

*Govt can takeover hostile NGOs working against nation's integrity

This will effectively strangulate :
*Conversion mafias
*Jihadi orgs
*Anti- infra fake environment groups
*Chinese vested interest in india
