this is how the fetishizing goes wrong imo

1. set up a community that strongly believes in a single objective Truth
2. dunk a lot on and chastise people who mess up that single objective Truth
3. make ppl scared they won& #39;t have enough access to Truth to say anything at all

4. congrats, now nobody is comfortable saying much of anything, and goes crazy hedging even statements about what they believe and why for fear of being dunked on later
