$CHZ.AX - as mentioned, I jumped on a call that Mr. Panda had with Mike Brown last week. As many know, ChZ hit very nice gold at Area D in late July just before the rainy season. Rainy season is almost done now. The stock is trading well after a couple approaches to 50 EMA. 1/12
It was a pretty wet season but Mike noted CHZ will be back on grounds at Diamba Sud soon enough. Area A and Area D in particular have competent ground (laterite?) for operating on. Wetness can be more of an issue at Western splay but no issue as they drill that in 2021. 2/
$7m in cash on hand. Metallurgy is being worked on and should be announced in early October. The question of course is whether the ore is refractory or not. I think that should be the next real news we see from Chesser. We want to hear that the gold is free milling. 3/
Area D was responsible for the jump in the stock price in first post above, the highlight was shallow 48m of 6.7 gpt Au but the entire fence of holes was quite nice along 200m of strike. Chesser will bring in the diamond drills now as they want much more geological info. 4/
What lies beneath at D? There is limestone which is not notably mineralized at all. Chesser will drill deeper and see if they hit another layer of mineralization. Next holes are to be laid out east west at D to hit oblique and hit both structures. They want info. 5/
No surprise that limestone is not a great host for gold here. It's the same at Fekola and Gounkoto as two examples as well as Area A. What's going on at Area A? Here CHZ have hit as much as 300m by 400m type of mineralization. It won't be, say, 1 gpt. Easy to see it's more. 6/
As noted in prior page, CHZ will definitely be drilling to the SW at Area A. A is open that direction and given the entire structure dips slightly to the north one benefit is that any gold to the SW might be more shallow. Granodiorite is mineralized but not strongly so. 7/
That is the most interesting stuff to me. Mike noted that how influential new Chairman Mark Connelly is on the board. Mark will tell someone that they should talk to Mike and Mike's phone rings like 30 minutes later. CHZ was 100% retail but is now 80% retail. 8/
Shoutout to Simon Taylor on prior slide as he was the one who originally put Diamba Sud into Chesser. Mike Brown and Gareth O'Donovan have many years of exploration experience. I get that most companies have many experience at the helm but these guys do tick the box. 9/
In conclusion, we have a lot of drilling starting up in coming weeks at areas A & D. 5,000m of DD and 15,000m of RC. They aren't prospecting with the augers here anymore, they are well into the next phases. Met work coming soon but even more will be done in Q2/21.10/
The current share and mkt cap. I could give you guys a lot more on the geology but the presentation has some more information in the final pages on that. I guess I should note that Barrick has the land to the east and Gounkoto and Fekola are nearby. This is elephant country. 11/
Just a reminder that @MiningBookGuy has made MANY informative posts about Chesser and regional geology and probably more than one feature video. So check it out, my posts here are mostly what's coming next. Truth: Barrick likes this area and are very active to the east. 12/12
