Well, the Iloilo Esplanade is commendable in a way since it included mangrove reforestation in its plan.

BUT it also has some environmental issues which even angered Dr. Jurgenne Primavera, the country's leading expert on mangrove ecology and conservation.

I am not discrediting the efforts of the Iloilo City government, but this is also to make people aware that the project is not perfect at all.
