How it all started?

About five years ago in mid-2015, @izzaron and @hudajafni were strangers who became friends during their foundation year in UiTM Lendu. Guess what, our first poems were about our crushes written in Phonetics transcription! https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🙈" title="Nichts sehen-Affe" aria-label="Emoji: Nichts sehen-Affe"> Instagram was the platform where we started having people to read what we wrote prior to the publication of our book.
It took us about 2 years to compile 64 poems, a few months to edit & publish ‘A Peace of Us’ in August 2018. We’ve learned so much along the way especially the things we can do with words. It is understandable that poetry books rarely make money on their own. What’s more, they can be extremely hard to write. That being said, ‘A Peace of Us’ has travelled miles away through seasons, from the tropical climate of Malaysia to the sweater weather of United Kingdom in 2019-2020. The book also has made its debut in literary festivals including Georgetown Literary Festivals and Rantai Arts!
