I don't think they should even fill the seat until post jan 2021. I think it'll blow up in thier faces if they do. I don't have any wisdom beyond that except "don't make this even fucking worse." And this will make things worse. So don't do it.
The way people react to @CBHessick pointing out bigotry really shows us who they are.
