Sooo I just want to share the aftermath and acknowledge some regrets. Last night before tweeting I had gotten hateful comments this video was at 75-80% watch average INCREDIBLY high for me. I was THRILLED. high watch averages tell YouTube it’s good content and they promote it.

True my views were down but the algorithm cares more about retention than views.

I LOVE THAT YALL were looking to defend me. But enough of you were more curious about the comment than my content and now it’s likely YouTube won’t suggest my video. Which means growth slows down.

Lessons:
1. if you are a content creator, be kind to other content creators. Leave their video running in the background to help them out. Don’t just leave a comment and bail.
2. If there are trolls I need to find a way to show y’all love and humor without sabotaging myself.
