Please note that while some PUA claimants were unable to file a weekly claim certification in their portal after the BEACON 2.0 launch, the issue has been fully resolved. With the new system, claimants now have an extra day to file their weekly claim certification.

Rather than needing to file by Friday at 5 p.m., claimants now have until Saturday at 11:59 p.m. to file. As a result, claimants will have until this Saturday, September 26 to file their weekly claim certification for the week ending September 19.

If claimants were unable to file their weekly claim certification before the offline period began, Labor is also accepting weekly claim certifications for the week ending September 12 until Saturday, September 26. For more information, please visit http://www.MDunemployment.com .
