I expect the weirdest things from corporates ☹️

It's so naive of me and I should know better but nope. My heart still gets a bit sore

Like expecting a corporate to let you continue on medical aid for another month or two after retrenchment so that you can make another plan
#COVID19 has messed up our lives big time

I'm seeing its impact in this way ---> the number of people that are getting retrenched, getting taken off medical aid, and having to transfer out to the public sector for their chronic condition to be managed there
There is nothing wrong with the public sector by the way. It's just that you need time to enter the system in some areas. It's not always as simple as going there today and expecting everything to happen today so please keep that in mind
If you know that you're going to be moving from the private sector to the public sector in the near future, start planning now

Where is the nearest clinic?

What do you need to bring with you on the day of consultation?

What time should you be there to get helped?

And so on
If you're in a position to help anyone that you know is in need, please do

People are going through so much right now. SO much

I remember saying to someone "I'll prescribe the generic. It's only R234"

The person said "anginayo leyo R234 Dr Sindi"

I've stopped saying such
Admin day today in Kempton Park as I start preparing for going back to face-to-face consultations in mid- October
