I think that anime twitter would provide a richer and more valuable experience if most people's taste wasn't so extremely similar. You don't have to feel bad or invalidated if your taste is kinda "generic", but please try to explore some different shows out of your comfort zone
I think many people watch the shows that everyone recommends, and never move on from them because they want to play it safe and farm clout from the huge fandoms of those series. It's kinda like some people don't think a series is worth watching if they won't get likes from it
And what happens is that everyone ends up with the same 3x3. I know that one will eventually find people with different tastes if one searches well but it's kinda uncommon in my experience
So I recommend that you explore some of the media that maybe aren't so acclaimed and watched by everyone. It's absolutely normal to want to watch the stuff that your friends talk about and participate in the popular discourses, but the medium has so much more to offer beyond
the same 20 shows that you see everytime. I'm sure you'll find many obscure things that will surprise your with their quality. Watching such things will help you develop your taste and enrich your perspective
Sorry if this comes off as a bit elitist. I don't wanna invalidate anyone's taste and I wholeheartedly agree that many of the super popular shows are extremely good. But I just wanna see more diverse, meaningful discussions around underrated animanga and media in general
