Brutal. Nats hang 15 on the Marlins in game 2.

Magic numbers:

For Division: 5
For Playoffs: 4

Way more detail to follow
2 wins in the Marlins series eliminates the Fish from the division race. That clinches a tie in head to head and clinches a better record in the division.
The Phillies on the other hand could pass the Marlins. Their elimination number is 4. Their head to head record with the Braves is 5-5. The Braves have a 1-game lead in division record. With both teams playing their final 4 division series starting tomorrow.
So some scoreboard watching may be necessary. For those wondering, the third tiebreaker is the record over the last 20 games (then you keep going back one game in the schedule until the tie is broken)
One more thing, I changed the playoff magic number back. I'm basing that on all the 26-loss teams. Because so many of those team are in the central, we might clinch a playoff spot before the magic number reaches 0 (like last year, if you were here for that).
