Hi guys! Decided to create this thread of polls to find out what readers prefer when reading AUs so we can find ways to improve our writing/posts to make it easier to read for you!

Let us know what you think by voting!

When it comes to reading do you like day mode or night mode for written parts & social media posts in AUs?
Do you like more written parts or more social media posts?
When we write One Shots or Drabbles would you rather read them on twitter or on AO3?
Angst or fluff?
Short or long AUs?
Written stories with chapters or social media au?
Do you have a preference on what ship you read about?
If a description of an AU is good but the ship it involves isn’t one of your favorites, would you still read it?
Do you like AUs based off of other universes? For example: Harry Potter, Marvel, DC, etc.
Do you loose interest in AUs if the writer takes a week or more to update?
Slow burn or straight to the point?
Are you a hard stan or soft stan?
When a writer posts a playlist of songs that go with the AU do you actually listen to the songs?
Do you like when writers take on sensitive topics?
Happy endings or sad endings?
Would you like it for writers to tweet about their personal lives on their au account or keep it separate?

(At the end of the day people can tweet whatever they want, just wondering what everyone thinks)
Do you like it when writers bring in other idols from other groups into the au?

((We all know the prime example of Jackson Wang throwing a frat party))
Would you rather read an AU about a ship or a y/n au?
Do you like it when the writer changes the ages of the members? Example: Jungkook is older than Jin.
If an AU has a spin-off or sequel are you likely to read it?
What time do you usually read or catch up on AUs you’re reading?
Is there a specific time you like when writers update?
How often do you check for updates?
Do you like it when writers give visuals? (Like pictures that show what they’re talking about)
Does it bother you if a writer doesn’t delete their authors note before the next update? (Sometimes I forget https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🥺" title="Pleading face" aria-label="Emoji: Pleading face">)
If a writer posts a prompt but doesn’t say when they’ll start it or if they’ll even start it, do you still save it for later?
If you know an AU is discontinued do you still read it?
If an AU is discontinued do you think the writer should delete it?
Have you ever sent a Ko-fi or commissioned work from a writer?
If you have commissioned a work from a writer, did you like how it turned out?

If you say no - did you tell them you didn’t like it or not?
Does the amount of followers a writer has impact if you read their AUs?
Do you interact (like & rt) leave feedback to writers?
Taking another break! I’ll keep adding questions soon! If you have a question you would like me to add to this DM me or send it in our curious cat! Please be sure to mention it’s for this thread so I don’t get confused lol! -Sunnyhttps://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="☀️" title="Sonne mit Strahlen" aria-label="Emoji: Sonne mit Strahlen"> https://curiouscat.me/bangtanshewrote ">https://curiouscat.me/bangtansh...
