He responds basically saying he just likes someone full of hope, he did not once mention only liking men. Therefore he could still be Bisexual or Pansexual, or maybe unlabeled or more.

And before anyone tries to pull a kurokuma or hiyoko:

Hiyoko and Kurokuma calling Komaeda "gay" were mistranslations and bloopers.

Hiyoko calling komaeda gay in Side:Hope was a blooper from the english voice actor that made it in.

It's the same thing for komaeda calling makotos hands soft, and makoto calling komaedas hands sticky, Bryce himself said that it was a blooper he did to be funny that made it in. so that isn't valid evidence of Komaeda being gay. in the original JP you won't hear any of these.

Kurokuma calling komaeda gay was a mistranslation, it was originally a Japanese joke referring to his clothing because of a another Japanese fictional character from what I heard. the joke has nothing to do with his sexuality.

Also, just because he shows attraction to ONE male doesn't make him gay, bisexuals do NOT have to PUBLICLY show their attraction to both genders to be bisexual, saying that bisexuals being in a relationship with a certain gender makes them only gay or straight is Biphobic.

It would make sense if he showed romantic/sexual attraction to ALL male characters and not female characters, but that isn't the case at all here.

Some might argue with komaeda winking "at hajime" in the beach scene, but if you play chapter 3 you'll notice a picture of that scene, and it's stated that it was taken by mahiru. So what if he was winking at mahiru instead?

Theres also Komaeda asking Nanami to explore together in chapter 4, when he could have asked Hajime instead, keep in mind this was also BEFORE Komaeda found out Hajime was a reserve course student, so using that as an excuse doesn't work.

I've seen a lot of people use mikan loving Junko to claim that she's canonically bisexual, even though she was brainwashed. So why not keep the same energy when it's canon that it's the same for Komaeda when he was brainwashed?

Of course, "Nurse" is gender neutral, but almost all the time it's used to refer to a woman, so you can still assume he is talking about a woman.

There was also a moment in a class trial where Komaeda praised Nanami, I can't find the screenshot but I'm sure most of you know what I'm talking about.
