TRUMP'S PLAN

Predict voter fraud.
Incite voter fraud.
"Discover" the fraud he incited.
Declare only live votes valid.
Declare victory 11/3.
Sue to block counting mail-in votes.
Use GOP officials to block electors.
No one gets 270.
He wins in the House.

NOTE: If you take every statement Trump has ever made about the 2020 presidential election, you realize that he's already laid out all 9 steps of his plan *in public*. He's so sure he can steal the election, he's already told America how he'll do it—which makes it harder to stop.

PS: If the vote goes to the House, Americans must understand that the vote is by *delegation*, not member of Congress. Right now the GOP has more state delegations under its control than the Democrats do. It's the most obvious way for Trump to steal the election—and this country.

PS2: We got a statement from the U.S. military that said it would support whoever the lawful POTUS is.

The CJCS needs to have his lawyers working on the above scenario day and night to determine and declare whether a president who wins in the way described would be a lawful one.

PS3: As an attorney, I'll say the key step is . If state GOP officials—in communication with or on the command of the head of their party, Trump—disregard valid votes to block slates of electors, the military must consider that action illegal, no matter its veneer of authority.

PS4: What's unclear is what role SCOTUS could or would play—as all of this will be coordinated to put maximum pressure on state elections officials, the Court, and Congress using the hard deadlines by which the U.S. runs our federal elections.

Those deadlines will be weaponized.

PS5: There's every reason to worry that Trump's campaign has been in contact with elections officials in states where the GOP controls the certification of the election and the state's electors. Any voter fraud in that state—no matter who commits it—will be "discovered" by Trump.

PS6: When Trump told North Carolina voters to commit voter fraud, he knew his words were heard nationally. That means that as long as his own voters commit voter fraud, he can "discover" voter fraud in any state he likes and use that "discovery" to declare victory in live voting.

PS7: Trump won't care whether an act of voter fraud is committed by Democrats or his cultists (who he publicly advised to commit voter fraud). He's already seeded his vile rhetoric, which is that mail-in balloting generally can't be trusted. The details of any fraud don't matter.

PS8: But there's more. The slowdowns at the USPS that Trump's handpicked lackey has devised will undoubtedly create such spectacular snafus in the mail-in balloting process this fall that it will dovetail *beautifully* with Trump's months of attacking the system as dysfunctional.

CONCLUSION: The first step to defeating a plan is exposing it—ensuring it's dogged by accusations of cynical plotting and sinister foreknowledge. Secondly, when you know a plan in advance you can do everything to dissolve it at each and every turn—rhetorically *and* logistically.
