/16 The government need to show that lockdowns work to cover their arses. So they want to get ahead of a winter COVID problem that will never exist. There will almost certainly never be a rise in hospitalisations such as we saw earlier this year. @carlheneghan @FatEmperor
/16 Hence the sudden ramp up in propaganda this week. Squash a problem that will never exist, but get ahead of it. Then they can show they saved us.
/16 Of course, they could be genuinely worried. I see that Neil Ferguson has shown up again forecasting doom, but I can't believe that all the other evidence is ignored. It's just that the other evidence, eg, Sweden is not suitable.
/16 They get away with it because they give all the key media players an inside track or most favoured status. If you don't play their game you lose the contacts in government. Not a new trick.
/16 So if they come down hard now, they can say they fixed it. It also has the added benefit for pharma companies because ultimately it sells vaccine. I am sure they're in there pulling the strings.
/16 The clue to the most favoured media outlets is in the video below from the Pandemic exercise that was held in October 2019. The video is a stitch together of various segments. I don't buy into the New World Order stuff, but the media control bit is clear.
/16 It's the MSM; the BBC, Guardian, Sky, like one hive mind, fed the right lines, the inside info. Good opportunity to attack some Gammons. It explains today's news (Sept 20th) about the Trafalgar Square demo. It sells copy.
/16 The whole problem at the demo instigated by aggressive policing, unlike anything seen with XR and BLM.
/16 From a government perspective it's management by fear. Oldest trick and most powerful motivator.
/16 It's worth looking back at the original Imperial College report from March. In it they talk about Suppression or Mitigation. We're still stuck in the Suppression mode, which of course is crazy, but it's the route that the vaccine companies want ($B).
/16 They sell vaccine off the Suppression strategy, but not the Mitigation strategy. It is simply an argument about Suppression vs Mitigation.
/16 There is a lot of worry about #longcovid, but no recognition of the devastating consequences in every other aspect of life, whilst we shut down the economy with lockdowns. An utterly myopic view, but much propagated by those such as @devisridhar.
/16 The vaccine companies will milk it for all its worth. Just like they did for Swine Flu in 2009. There are billions of dollars in it for them.
/16 It's a great opportunity for the chattering class media to slag off the Gammons, COVID deniers, Brexiteers. All driven by the inside track that they get to the government inner circle. @piersmorgan
/16 On the basis of "never let a crisis go to waste" I think there will be a push for a Freedom Pass. A national ID scheme, digital passport. What a great opportunity for future control.
