I picked these two also because of their conversation about work because dang it was funny but also made me think a lot. Gary has his "no killing" clause but sometimes that lets bad things happen. Red Death killed a "hero" who was a raging a-hole misogynist. All actions are grey.

I tried to be calm but I lose sleep over Rose. Did she have a kid out of wedlock or did someone leave? Why does she compartmentalize her past unlike others? She was running with the big dogs so what exactly did she get up to? What shit did she see or endure in the friggin 1960s?
And obviously her biggest joy was in being a mother and that was probably really hard work -- but she believes her son looked for the first opportunity to run away from her, and she thinks she did something to make him feel like she couldn& #39;t love him?? I AM INVESTED IN HER :((
