Further to this, we may need help so I'm sharing some more details.

Problem:
Many students in Jamaica do not have access to an internet enabled device. So many kids will not be able to access online learning and will have to go to school physically. https://twitter.com/guruintraining_/status/1307746807775141889

Some friends and I wanted to start 'The Internet Access and Device Drive Community Outreach Project'.

We would ask for donations of internet enabled devices for our most vulnerable students.

We would also mobilize now inactive church spaces and community centre spaces...

....as 'mini learning centres' where students in those communities could come to access online learning platforms on the collected devices.

The aim was for it to be community based so students wouldn't have to travel far, if at all. Test with a pilot project maybe

Funding for food (for students), protective gear and materials, and utilities was where the challenge was.

But thing with my friends is, we aren't wealthy but if we have to fund a venture from pocket we will. Like @stocksondrocks. Until we get help.

There are still some details to work out but something has to be done. Many students haven't been to school since March.
