It is important to differentiate panic attacks from anxiety attacks, because they are not the same:
Panic attacks come on suddenly and involve intense and often overwhelming fear. They’re accompanied by frightening physical symptoms, such as a racing heartbeat, shortness of breath, or nausea.
An anxiety attack, people may feel fearful, apprehensive, may feel their heart racing or feel short of breath, but it& #39;s not long lived, and when the stressor goes away, so does the anxiety attack.
