Leaning city in an attempt to provoke violence, so that they can claim through right wing media that they are in fact the victims of left wing violence. This same scene has been playing out for years and will continue into the foreseeable future. 2/

The fascist proud boys choice of venue, delta park, is a particularly heinous choice to carry out their fascist inspired violence. This is a family park with a large youth sports complex, where undoubtedly Portland families will be trying to enjoy the last days of summer and 3/

Children will be playing soccer with their friends. There’s also a high density houseless population in the area, who are already extremely vulnerable and have been victimized by random acts of right wing violence in the past couple months. 4/

The proud boys and other assorted fascists will descend on this area with stockpiles of weapons intent on hurting anyone they deem “antifa”, which to them is anyone without a trump flag. 5/

Now more than ever it’s important to have an overwhelming community response. The fascists are less likely to commit violence when they are outnumbered because at their core they are cowards that only enjoy the violence they can control. 6/

Large numbers have historically been the best defense against fascist invasions. Our community gets to decide what happens here not packs of sociopaths fueled by the fascist rhetoric of the president. 7/
