JO1 General Leader - Yonashiro Sho
Dance Leader - Kawashiri Ren
Vocal Leader and Team Chants - Kono Junki

Meanwhile Junki position as Vocal leader is rarely highlighted, they have mentioned it in magazine interviews a couple of times. But with recent Sho& #39;s statement, Junki still hold an "official" Sub-leader title.

I am not sure sure who said it...

But Junki is the type who will lead in front while Sho and Ren is the type who looks over them from behind.

I think it is a good move that they implement this system rather than putting all the pressure to one leader.

So far, we are seeing a balance dynamics between the leaders

If I might say, they probably come up with this based on SEVENTEEN system. We know how Ren looks up to them (and practically a Carat as well) and many members also like SVT.

For the ones who are not familiar, Seventeen has 3 Units where each has its own Leaders.

General and Hip-Hop Team Leader - Scoups
Vocal Team Leader - Woozi
Performance Team Leader - Hoshi

Even though Scoups is SVT Leader, he entrusted the other Unit Leader in Music & Performance Producing. He is also actively involved in agency meetings as representative of the boys

Now if we go by this, we can see that Sho could play a role more than a Group leader.

We know how he good his communicating skill is, so I hope that Lapone would involve the boys when it comes to discussing their Group direction. Here, Sho could be the one who represent JO1 view

When I say Junki is rather seen as Sub-leader, cause I have other member in mind as JO1 Vice or Shadow Leader.

People might think he is a laid back member, but no.. he is one of the most attentive and highly alerted member

Ruki variety sense is one of the top

He is very quick to catch the situation and adjust to it. Even though his gags sometimes failed, you can see how he tries hard to come out with sth funny for viewers.

Moreover, he is the member who is quick to cover Sho& #39;s role. Watch him in Stargazer Tiktok showcase, and...

you can see how he took Sho& #39;s MC script when he had to go down the stage and assist Junki and Keigo when Sho has to do other stuff.

Ren also mentions how Ruki is there supporting and pushing everyone silently from the back.

Even though w/o official title, we know that Ruki..

plays a major part on guiding the younger members, especially in variety skills. You can see how Lapone frequently have Ruki with younger members like RukiTakuShion and RukiKeigo in variety shows.

As of now, the members always point out Keigo& #39;s role in Fashion-related interviews and we know he is apt for it.

We don& #39;t know how his role will be further developed, as I have yet to see a group to have...

The things pointed above does not mean the members did more than others. The existence of Leaders are mainly to coordinate the members and help them to improve as a group.

I think I should mention how Sukai, Shion and Shosei said that they are the type who would take a step...

Back and see the overall situation rather than pushing their opinion.
In a way it made me sad that Sukai even have to describe himself as the shadow(?), rather than that I would prefer that he see himself being considerate and prioritizing the better of the group. But this kind

Of thought is important as they are a big group with 11 different minds. I hope the members would at least discuss their views to Sho and still speak up their mind.

This also applies to Takumi and Syoya.

JO1 still have a long way to go, and there are a lot of Members skill and future role to be discovered.

This is just my humble thoughts as I am impressed that a group that was formed less than a year have such a progressive group dynamic.
