Everyone promoting IUD’s right now all willy nilly is so scary to me because no one talks about how there’s a real possibility that demon device will ruin someone’s body like it did mine and people are being pushed into getting one out of fear and ignorance
Jsyk getting an IUD is kinda like playing Russian roulette with your reproductive and overall health because there’s no way for you to know whether it’ll work fine for you without side effects, or if it will create a dumpster fire out of your hormonal balance like it did to me.
It might end up totally fine or you might gain like 50 lbs in one year, lose an obscene amount of hair, develop insulin resistance, be tired ALL THE TIME, lose your sex drive, get depressed +other fun mood instabilities, & start having more breakouts than you did in adolescence🙃
Not to mention the fact that insertion was a horror story and removal was the even more fucked up and traumatic sequel. I have never been in more pain in my entire life. Also the occasional pelvic pain and discomfort the entire time I had that thing in. So fun 💕
I am not saying everyone who gets an IUD will have the same experience I did; I am saying though that these things are unpredictable and you have no way of knowing how it will affect your body. And if it happens to not work for you, you can’t even remove it yourself in many cases
I strongly advise against this device and urge everyone to look into alternative methods of controlling their fertility. Fertility awareness tracking has been working great for me, along with herbal supplements during ovulation and pre menstruation to prevent pregnancy ✨
Queen Anne’s lace tincture during the fertile window to prevent implantation, Angelica, mugwort, tulsi tea the week before my period to make 100% sure it comes and there’s no chance a pregnancy could survive even if implantation managed to take place (despite all my precautions)
The rest of my herbs I get from a local herb shop but they’re easy to find in most herb shops or online!
