So this is what a LTN looks like in reality. My 4 and 6 year old could practice riding on the road of their street today something they could not have done with the bridge open to vehicles. We then rode over the bridge to link up to the new cycle path...

And finally enjoyed the new cycle path through to South Gosforth and back. So many new routes for us now and something we could not have done before.
