Yes, they started in a bankrupt company without much experience in handling artists. But not because they didn't have other choice. THAT was their choice.

Literally every company wanted Jungkook. JYP, which already had several massive artists, Cube that wasn't much behind, FNC, Starship, Woolim, TS - they all made offers to him.

and other people around them. The company recognized them and they recognized the company, deciding to audition and later to sign in.

There are comments I'm posting wrong/misleading info, so to clear things out:

Yoongi did auditioned for a producer. Nevertheless, auditioning for a producer and for an idol are 2 very different things. Like he said in Burn The Stage, he first was interested only in making songs.

Other thing is that according to one of the sources, Bighit learned about Hobi from his teacher in his dance academy that "introduced him" to bh. From what I knew is that BigHit was told about Hoseok and then called him. Now I can't recall my source to this, while Hobi biased +

commented we don't know whether BigHit called him or not, so there's a possibility this was armys assumption that I accomodated along the road. Maybe they called him, maybe they invited him through his teacher, that's to be discovered.

And about BigHit calling Tae's parents - one this is I'm pretty sure he said that himself during an interview in Korean show. Don't recall which one either, because when I started learning about them, I've been watching cuts of the shows. But he still was a minor and he went +
