so many trans ppl dont seem to kno how easy it is to get hormones ~unofficially or that many ppl self med, help eachother out w/o going thru official channels partly i think because all the intense scaremongering over 'trans rights' has dominated the discourse

so many trans ppl just think they'll never get help from the NHS or be able to afford private (fair and partly true!) that they end up supressing any desire to access HRT, when u can just talk to any medically transitioning trans person n theyll likely sort u out

it's effected UK english trans politics so badly. so many ppl develop a politics around not letting themselves desire HRT etc.
