Bakugo’s speech habit is to choose “the shortest word possible” to communicate. This habit is overlooked in the scans, not because the translators did a bad job, but some Japanese words are just impossible to translate directly. Below are some examples
He literally said “N” in the raw panel
Originally he just said “Kichii na”which is the impolite form of “kitsui na” which literally means “intense/tight”
Originally he just said “Kareishuu”. There are many ways to say endeavor smells like an old man in Japanese, but Bakugo would only choose the shortest form possible, even if it means using hard vocabulary
This habit further confirms his traits which were straightforward, efficient, logical, and quick. He’s someone that DESPISED small talk.
Due to language barrier i saw a lot of people didn’t quite catch this trait of his, which adds up the depth of his character. So i hope this makes people get to know him a little more 💥
Oh here’s another example

In Japanese he said 来んな (read/ kun’na) which is shortened form of of 来るな (kuru na)

“kuru na” is an informal form of 来ないで (konaide) = don’t come.

So the equivalent would be “comen’t” 🤣🤣🤣 idk
Found another one 😂😂😂
This is also a proof that he likes to keep it short:

1. [Damatte kiiterya dara dara yo]
I tried to stay silent and listen but you’re just rambling

2. [Baka wa youyaku dekinee kara hanashi ga nagee]
Idiots cannot summarize, that’s why they talk so long
Bakugo leading OFA meeting 😂:
1. Bkg: all of them died early..
2. AL: y...es
3. Bkg: so? What will shitty nerd learn next?
4. AM: smooth.... (impressed with how bkg push the conv forward)
5. Bkg: it’s because you people are quick to drift off (from the topic)!!
Adding my “BAKUGO DOESN’T TALK THAT MUCH” (and in fact talks very efficiently) collection.

Literal translation:

In that situation,

The only one who understands the “circumstances” and could go (with you) right away,

Is me!
