During my church's Zoom coffee hour, I received an email threatening armed violence against me and all who think like me. So my church family prayed for me and for the man who sent the email. Join us in praying for him. His name is Wayne. Here's his email. #twitterstorians #USIH
Also, just an FYI: I am under no obligation to protect the identity of anyone who threatens me, publicly or privately. "Whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops."
One of my friends found this man's address etc, so I called @MapleGrovePD1 to let them know a resident of their town had emailed me threatening violence and I asked to speak to a detective. Was told to speak to a detective in my town.
I will find time to do that. In the meantime, maybe @maplegrovemngov should look into one of their residents emailing a threat of violence to someone he's never met because he read something he didn't like. This man's neighbors deserve that much.
all necessary reports filed. FBI in both Dallas and Minneapolis were very professional. at this point, I am going to have some lunch and grade some papers.
thanks for your prayers. and do pray for this man. he needs help, and peace in his soul. me too!
all: through an unbelievable coincidence, someone follows me on Twitter who knows this man's family and knows his story. steps are being taken to get him help.
when I asked for prayer for this man, I was not kidding. my church wasn't kidding.
"In Jesus' name, have mercy."
