There is still only ONE black woman anchoring a show on @MSNBC.

Even though the great @JoyAnnReid brings the NEEDED perspective of black women in this important time in our country, she shouldn’t have to do it alone.

@TiffanyDCross has EARNED an anchor spot.

RT if you agree.
Dear Mr. @cesarconde_ , please give @TiffanyDCross the anchor chair she deserves. ❤️
Anyone who frequents my page KNOWS that I advocate for any & EVERY amazing person I know or know of ❤️...

But THIS thread is about the more than worthy @TiffanyDCross, alone.

I’m giving her HER flowers. If you’d like to join me, please do.

And now I will tell you WHY I believe that @TiffanyDCross is the voice we need On-Air, in an ANCHOR chair right now—this all may end up in an open letter to you Mr. @cesarconde_ & @msnbc so please forgive any overlap ❤️...
1) @TiffanyDCross is fearless. She will speak truth to power & call out foolishness like every other principled black woman I know & she’ll do it w/a smile.

This is nothing to fear. Truth is needed. Those that can tell it unapologetically are a gift.

@NicolleDWallace does this.
2) @TiffanyDCross is smart. Aside from that, she does her research & speaks on what she KNOWS. She’s not afraid of a deep dive.

Just like @maddow.

cc: @cesarconde_ & @msnbc
3) @TiffanyDCross has years of experience in the political space. Don’t let the baby face fool ya. That’s just melanin magic. She has done the work, knows the players AND the history of how we got where we are.

Just like @lawrence.

cc: @cesarconde_ & @msnbc
4) @TiffanyDCross has heart. She can speak truth to power, call out lies and then pivot to covering the #HomeGoing of a natural treasure like @repjohnlewis with a tenderness that allows us to mourn with her.

Like @TheRevAl.

cc: @cesarconde_ & @msnbc
5) @TiffanyDCross is fun & likable. She can make any conversation—even one about difficult things in our nation—feel a bit lighter.

She has never and will never suffer fools gladly, but she brings joy in the midst.

Just like @JoyAnnReid.

I am speaking as a member of the 94% that tried to warn this nation about @realDonaldTrump.

When you #ListenToBlackWomen things change for the better.

I am one Black woman asking @msnbc & @cesarconde_ to please give us #CrossTalk.

@TiffanyDCross is a voice we NEED right now.
