1) About to thread since no one is up, and I have a thought forming: Just read an article about hemp made facemasks that filter and are compostable, while single use petrochemical plastic facemasks are being used and wasted everyday around the world...

2 ) With the legalization of hemp, we are seeing it replacing so many non-recyclable materials. And it is once again proving that the govt's war on cannabis has done so much harm to an entire 100 yrs for our planet....

3) It has been proven multiple times, over decades that cannabinoids are chemicals our body makes & benefits from (which is why they stay in body). The highest concentrations of endocannabinoids (ones our body makes) are in breast milk, so they are necessary for development...

4) By removing hemp from the world just because it is kin to cannabis indica and cannabis sativa, the govt also removed beneficial hemp from livestock feed and therefore our food supply. It also removed our ability to make sustainable materials...

5) Once again, the govt put in a policy under the guise of safety/security, but was actually built on a cornerstone of racism. They even coined the term marijuana to replace cannabis to invoke fears of lazy stoners in the Mexican laborer/immigrant population...

6) Reefer Madness was aimed at the southern black population. I don't even know anyone that uses those words, unless ironically or talking about laws/politics. Either way, Nixon doubled down by going after political dissidents as well by creating 1972 drug scheduling...

7) Then Reagan doubled down with the War on Drugs, Biden upped him with the Crime Bills, and Bush had to top them all with the Patriot Act. All of this government getting in the way of people being able to access the many benefits of cannabinoids...

8) My brother recently sent me an article about scientists developing a drug to block ACE glycoprotein receptors that the corona virus attaches to. I told him I knew that cannabinoids do the same thing back in May. We know it kills cancer cells...

9) It helps people with PTSD & anxiety rest. It helps with aches/pains more safely than other drugs. It helps a number of people with seizures and disorders. But because the govt wants to remove the rights of minorities, poor, & political dissidents to vote or arm themselves...

10) The entire world has had to suffer. That is why 1 of my Top 5 voting priorities is ending the War on Drugs, & always will be. Was thinking about it earlier, & I would say my 1st Libertarian moment was when I researched & then tried cannabis when I saw through the lie...

11) I honestly went from a Green Party voting nerd, that believed a govt could legislate equality, to a Libertarian nerd that thought all the govt needs to do is protect our freedoms, not take them away...

12) If it's not in Article 1 Sec 8 or Amendments, the 10th Amend reserves that power/choice for states/counties/cities/individuals. I don't see anywhere in Constitution where regulating plants is a power. The consequences they have created are why they shouldn't have that power.
