Anybody who supports this guy is a fascist, period. https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1307669484120014848
The lesson if history teaches us that when fascists are in power, all they need is for you to find some reason to join with them, and gullibility is perfectly adequate to their need. They don't require full support.

This is a question of alignment, not intention.
I'd add a lot of gullibility around fascism is of the rather convenient sort.

People are willing to build any number of surmountable barriers between themselves and readily available knowledge, then fail to surmount those barriers to avoid the inconveniences of caring.
Half the country is in fact fascist, is my observation based on the evidence before me.
Kind of crazy that open fascism never "backfires in the election," but anti-fascism is always in danger of "backfiring in the election," no?

Almost seems like we could draw some conclusions about half the country and their alignment with fascism.
Trump is unquestionably a fascist president, in that he pursues a fascist agenda and uses the exact language of fascists. He's as subtle as a boot to the face.

If he can win election and might win re-election, then saying half the country is fascist isn't a generalization.
The fact a truth is uncomfortable doesn't make it less true, only less comfortable.

If one's first priority is comfort, one will miss uncomfortable truths when it arrives, fail to face the threat it prefigures, then blame the true report for creating the threat's realization.
This is correct. As @ThePlumLineGS put it, he's not trying to win election. He's trying to get within cheating distance. In so doing, he's invalidated his presidency and candidacy both. https://twitter.com/THP1640/status/1307709746137292801?s=20
