When an award ballot is egregiously bad, it is somewhat noteworthy (think Drummond & Whiteside for DPOY).
Outside that, the votes only matter if the relative order they establish is incorrect.

The entire point of having a wide variety of voters is to factor in a diverse set of opinions while relying on the large number of votes to produce an accurate final result.
The All-NBA teams are mostly good. Middleton should be on there, but that was a format casualty (he had enough votes, but split between positions). Sub him for Westbrook, and it& #39;s fine. I& #39;d have Jokic first team and Siakam third team, but those are minor quibbles.
Giannis obviously deserves his MVP. The playoff struggles simply don& #39;t matter for a regular season award.
Should there be a postseason MVP? Absolutely.
Should regular season awards be given out near the end of the regular season? That would make sense to me.
