Since cold weather is coming, I might fuck around and sew some much needed buttons on a couple of my coats
Gonna see if there's a craft store near me that does curbside pickup
If I'm gonna spend the morning sewing, I also wanna fix a rip in a very cute tank top I own, but I don't know how to fix it
Like, I accidentally put it through the wash with some rough-buttoned clothes, without using a garment bag, and one of the straps snagged and kind of tore some of the neckline off. I'm looking around online, but I haven't been able to find any tutorials for that specific fix.
My guess is I'd need an entirely new piece of fabric to make a new hem? I don't know. I don't have a lot of sewing experience.
This also probably the sort of fix I'd need to do on my favorite sundress from 2017, that ripped in the neckline
So I'm looking it up on the internet some more and apparently I need "trim" or "tape" or "edging" or something? It feels like a lot more complicated stuff than I can manage at my current level of sewing experience.
Some time I also wanna patch up the lining in this old jacket
Someone with sewing experience please help me
I also wanna fix up the armhole on one of my vests that I tore in 2018 during one of the worst nights of my life
Unfortunately I cannot find my sewing kit today, so it'll have to wait
There's also a shoulderpad on one of my blazers that needs reattaching
Yeah this thread is basically becoming a to-do list for me
