A life-furthering value is any form of pursuit that gives you & greater society, growth.
It adds meaning to life through purpose & significance, where at the end of the journey,
you look back at the positive difference you made on society as an individual.

A life-negating value stems from choices made out of sheer desire that ends up harming us &/or the greater society, for the purpose of fulfilling a certain urge,
whether its greed, lust, glut, or any of the other sins.

A pattern emerging across time, is that life-furthering values are achieved by delaying gratifications.
It repetitively forces us to suffer now, if we want to achieve anything of significance later.
Its clear, to obtain life-furthering values, we must negotiate with the future.

Friends, parties, hangouts. Everything will cease to matter.
