Everyone is aware that it is the middlemen who squeeze the profits out of this business while farmers have to beg for MSPs & loan waivers!

So what are the provisions in the Act passed today?
• Farmers can now sell their produce beyond the Mandis set up by APMC Act
• Farmers can enter into pre-determined priced agreements with any buyer and don't have to pay any fee for selling outside of APMC areas!

Govt had given a "Model" APMC recommendations to all state governments but the states did nothing about it.
