🦠📈As Coronavirus cases appear to be rising, with some poorly enough to need hospital care, we face another uncertain few months ahead. In view of this we want to make it clear for you to understand how you can access our GP services should you need them.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑Like other local practices our surgery remains OPEN with face-to-face appointments available to all patients who NEED them, but they work differently (pls read on)
Our opening hours haven't changed throughout the COVID pandemic and remain the same as always: 8am to 6.30pm

2/8
🚪There is often confusion between a practice being 'open' and the the doors being 'closed'. Surgery appointments are first agreed over the phone to avoid excess footfall. We also allocate certain hours of each day to our most vulnerable (formerly shielded) patients.

☎️There are FOUR ways to contact us at the moment (see below). For non-urgent issues, please use these methods and DO NOT turn up at A&E. Over the coming months A&E will not be accepting non urgent 'walk-in' problems unless prior discussed with 111 ( see #TalkBeforeYouWalk)

You can contact using any of the following 4 ways:

ONE: 📞 Phone to request a GP/Nurse callback to plan a virtual (tel or video) consultation or to request a face-to-face appointment.

TWO: 📧 Visit the website to complete a confidential eConsult form.

5/8
THREE: 1⃣1⃣1⃣ Call NHS 111 by phone or access advice via the 111 website at https://111.nhs.uk

FOUR: 📲Download the NHS App to order repeat prescriptions, book appointments and check your symptoms.

6/8
💻There are three types of 'remote or virtual' consulting and it's important to understand the difference between them.
1. Online triage and Online Consultations (via the website eConsult link)
2. Telephone consultations
3. Video consultations

7/8
So there are lots off ways to book an appointment or talk to a Health care provisional BUT PLEASE do not come into the surgery OR turn up at A&E unless you have an appointment. #TalkBeforeYouWalk
Thank you. 🙏 #StaySafe #NHS
