@BNSSG_CCG perhaps you could kindly explain your rationale for not allowing care workers the flu vaccination this year? These care workers are looking after some of THE most vulnerable people. With Covid on the march again this should be given as a matter of course to protect.

@BristolLive perhaps you could take this up with the local CCG. Their decision not to allow care home workers access to the flu vaccine is nothing short of disgusting. I’m willing to bet all care staff in the CCG will have had one or be lined up to have one.

@GpTyntesfield if you look at this thread you will see that staff working in social care homes and around patients ARE entitled to FREE flu vaccinations. Perhaps you could pass this on to the misinformed people at your organisation who say they aren’t this year.Confirmed by CCG!
