Okay, so I found the tipping point. Open the second image to see how much smaller Freeman’s face has to be for Bosesman to be selected. ‘Freeman’ indeed.
It doesn’t have to be this way. Plenty of folk pointing out that TweetDeck selects one of the many Chadwicks. And when I’m selecting the images to post from my iPad, these are the thumbnails that Photos throw up.
For all the folks using third party apps who are just seeing Boseman, this is what the rest of us are getting

Twitter certainly seems to like Stan but maybe not just white folk. Lots of interesting replies to this. A few claim conspiracy but vast majority (me included) seeing systemic racism caused by mostly white devs testing with mostly white data.
